The Name
"Ah Nyar Thar" is the name for a resident of Upper Myanmar. The
native town of founder, Salay* (also Salé), is located near Bagan on
the bank of Majestic Ayeyarwaddy River. Thus the company is given name
"Ah Nyar Thar Travels & Tours" in praise of founder's nativity.
Note:
Stone-age weapons are often found in Anyar or Ah Nyar (Myanmar word
for upper Myanmar), such places as Yaynan Chaung, Salay* (also Salé),
Chauk, Sintku, Bagan, Pakokku, Pauk etc. American archaeologists,
Hellmut De Terra and Hallam L. Movius, Jr. coined the term "Anyathian
Culture" in 'Research on Early Man in Burma (Myanmar)' by American
Philosophical Society, Philadelphia, 1943 (ISBN:8121511496, 201 pages,
Illustrated, 8 ¾" x 11 ¼").
The Logo
In connection with the name, the logo of Ah Nyar Thar Travels &
Tours depicts an Ah Nyar Thar, shouldering a yoke with 2 water pots.
It epitomizes the fulfillment of needs, the lively action, and the
responsibility.
"The use of
traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and, instead of
thinking how things may be, to see them as they are."
Samuel Johnson
