The travellers on package tours, to be arranged by a licensed Myanmar tour operator, are now able to obtain visa on arrival at Yangon International Airport, provided that they live in a country where Myanmar Embassy is not yet present, or the city they reside is very far from that where Myanmar Embassy is situated.

The Myanmar tour operators, on behalf of the customers, need to fill an application form and submit the personal data, such as full name as stated in the passport, passport numbers, date of issue and expiry of passport, scanned copy of passport, date and place of birth, citizen and nationality, occupation and a digital passport photo, to the authorities at least 5 days in advance. Therefore, it is best to submit such data as soon as your travel arrangements are confirmed or by the latest 2 weeks prior to your arrival in Myanmar.


We are able to obtain a permit from the Myanmar Authorities in order for our clients to obtain the visa upon arrival at a minimal fee. As soon as the permit is granted, we shall send the approval in digital format to the customer who need to present it to the airline personnel at check-in prior to the flight to Yangon and again to the immigration office upon arrival at Yangon International Airport. Please note that the visa fee at US$ 20 per person is to be paid to the immigration on spot.
